Aiming for the gut

Aiming For The Gut is a black humor text-and-image collaboration between the poet Jean-Sébastien Larouche and the illustrator Mivil Deschênes. The work is derived sequentially, with one artist sending the other one texts or images without explanation. The results are provocative and terrifying and hilarious all at once.
AFTG is unapologetically written in French-Canadian broken English and Québécois slang. The material evokes the graphic punk ethos of Raymond Pettibon, while satirizing the most contemporary of subject matter.
